This is a very interesting and well written / researched book. It brings back the great memories of being 11 years old and having just built my first Heathkit - an SW-717 general coverage SWL receiver.
It was fascinating to read about the early days through WWII. Many pictures of old QSL's and confirmations, homebrew radios and advertisements of the commercial gear available at that time.
A really interesting history book - really gives you a good idea what it was like during major world events - the depression as well as WWII - with radio going strong.
