sounds ok but not great

The board is double side and plated through. It is well made. It is very easy to assemble. Some of the components are put very close each other, maybe too close.
Instructions are good. However as there were some changes in the circuit board, instructions become somewhere confusing. I would have preferred one only manual with the board consistent with the schematic.
Operationally the tone and the sound can be changed through two trimpots.
The quality of the sound is ok but not great. Audio gets distorted at high volume even if is not that high.
