Excellent headset

This is one of the best kept secrets in amateur radio I think. This is a really nice headset with excellent audio both on RX and TX in a lightweight and inexpensive headset. No problems driving a variety of radios over the years. These are compact, on-ear headphones and do not block out external noise much so are not as well suited for a multi op station or really noisy environment, but are great for other uses where you do not need to really attenuate external noise. The microphone IS noise cancelling and does a good job at providing clear audio in noisy environments however.

Good audio - light weight - inexpensive

I have received consistently excellent audio quality reports with this headset using a Yaesu FT1000MP, TenTec Omni VII and Elecraft K2 and K3 transceivers. They are lightweight and open-air enough to wear for contesting in a tropical environment. Comparatively cheap and relatively durable, they are my choice for DXpedition and Field Day operation. They come with mini and 1/4" plugs, so they work with many rigs out-of-the-box.
