Runs cool without need for a fan

Good old analogue power supply. Runs cool, no need for a fan ie no irritating shack noise. Overload protection and nice cross needle metering for current and voltage. Sturdy enclosure with high current terminals and 3 sets of low current terminals. Have had the newer Daiwa models and was not impressed when the output went down as they aged. Heard of others reporting same problem. Wouldn't entertain a switch mode unit so long as I can find an analogue PSU.
