I was looking for an easy interface to remote control my antenna rotor. But the spanish product was to expensive for me. Soon I've found Rene's website and contacted him. Some days later I had my interface. I had problems with the non-linearity of my Yaesu rotor, but Rene helped me very fast with a new version of the control software. This problem seems to be with some Yaesu rotors. But now it works perfectly. Thanks to good and fast support by Rene DF9GR. Cheap and good! 5 Points!

I have setup the ERC kit in a couple of hours. The manuals are excellent. The ERC Kit have all the full needed protections against SC and RF. I have asked for support for the rotor calibration feature software, and , in few minutes, by email, Rene has found and correct my mistake.
My goal was connected my YAESU rotors to the new win-test V4 funcionality and, without any surprise, it works very well.
What ERC needs more? Perhaps a PVC BOX and a couple of LEDs?

Very Good Solution

I have the Kit already on 4.6.09 from Germany picked by a friend. The following week I set up the board. I voted for the overall structure with additional relays and wiring and installation needs about 2 hours. Everything works in the first test immediately, thanks to the good guidance and advice via e-mail.
Since the system is in operation without failure.
I can only say a great solution!

Got my kit last saturday, build it up in abt. 1 hour. Installation in a Kenpro KR-400RC took another 2 hours. First Check sunday morning, 0 - 180° was ok, >180° Rotator return to 0°, whats wrong? ERC was build to support rotators wich have the endstop on 180°, my rotator stop at 0/360°. Some mails later, with the very friendly constructor ( it was sunday!!!) I got a firmware update by mail. problem solved, works exellent. Now you can chose, north- or soutendstop.
Run here with Windows 7 and HRD or DXView
Great weekendproject to update your rotator, exellent service!
