Nice kit for the money
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months
|
This is my first Elenco kit and I was pleasantly
surprised when I opened the box. Several bags of
quality parts and a nice case with knobs, etc. And
everything was there. It took me about 2 hours to
check everything, assemble, and test. They even give
you a tube of solder. It went together without a
hitch and the instructions are step by step with
great pictoral views. A kid could put this together. It generates sine, square, and triangle
waveforms from 1hz to 150khz in 3 decade steps with variable ranges. Sine waves from 0-3Vpp, square waves at 8v, and triangle waves at 0-3Vpp.
The impedance is 600 ohm +/- 10% and the generator is based on one XR-2206 monolithic IC. This is a quality piece of test equipment for the
Ham/electronics hobbyist at a low price.
