Very Nice Piece..  Time owned: more than 12 months
Honestly, I never even heard of Hammond before last year. I did some repair work for a friend, and he was going to take the Hammond tuner to a Hamfest to sell..but I took the unit for payment instead. This is a typical 80's vintage tuner, well built, excellent layout, with a very nice roller inductor. I have used it on all bands with no problem at all, tuning long wires, dipoles and verticals. I would compare it to the older Dentron Tuners, rugged, solid and reliable..The counter, on the roller inductor, is set for two counts per revolution.. excellent piece.
