I've been using the marvellous Ultrabeam 6-40 / 4 elements since a mounth now. During the past years i've used good antenna's system: Titanex (DLP-22) and four Optibeam models (OB12-4, OB13-6, OB80-1 and OB7-2WARC).
Recently i've evaluated the idea to have a full optimized antenna for each band (and mode) i would liked to operate.
After a long chat with the owner of the ULTRABEAM brand (IK1DYS), i went in Turin for visiting the lab and i was astonished about the care and professional way he did (does) create any single antenna.
At that point i decided to order the BIG ONE they have on their catalogue.
The antenna has been installed very easily, instructions are very clear to read and put in practice operations.
Antenna's performances are overcoming any expectations. I'll produce an update later on as i'll collect more results based on the day by day usage of the Ultrabeam
Bottom line: if you are looking to a dynamic antenna system, Ultrabeam is the only one to buy.
