I bought it new from a shop at abt 80$, much less than the street price. I immediately noticed that the power reading at different scales were inconsistent from each other. A friend of mine had a look into it and adjusted the trimmers to calibrate it, but still both the power and the swr meters are very imprecise. On top of that, the case is made of plastic without any screws. It is an adventure to open it to calibrate it.
The few bucks RF probe by Hendrincks http://www.qrpkits.com/rfprobe.html to measure power output up to 50 watts outperforms the CMX-2.
