Good for backup  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I use my DB-2345 for not-too-distant contacts. It is actually attic-mounted. I have to concur with other reviewer about the mounting brackets. When mounted according to instructions, the antenna is about 10 degrees off and I, too, had to adjust the bracket. Can't beat the price...bought it used for $15.00...replaced feedline. Even mounted in my attic (about 30 feet AGL), I can make contacts 50 miles on 2 meters easily.

Adequate for local contacts.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Overpriced. You could easily duplicate it if you had the measurements. Feed line is fragile. My antenna had the holes for the boom-to-mast clamp drilled out of alignment, causing the beam to be mounted about 10 degrees off the vertical. I had to bend the clamp to correct the alignment.
