Puxing's Best - A Little Gem!  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I own several Puxing radios and the PX-2R is definitely their best effort. This is a clever little 440 MHz HT, with two nice design features: an easy-to-replace (and very long lasting) cellular phone battery and charging via the PC USB port. The display is super and the RX audio is excellent considering its tiny size. Another plus is the PX-2R appears to be better built than Puxing's other models and the user interface is more refined. Truly a "shirt pocket" HT, this little gem is fast becoming my favorite rig - and for around $40, why not?!

Very well build  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
Just for aprox 30 euro's i bought this great and very well build handheld UHF rig. It uses a nokia battery with quit long lifetime before you have to recharge it.
To program this rig, use a special cable (check ebay). This method works perfect! A note to the software; some versions shows many questionmarks, wich is caused by a different language setting. You can change it to english.

Great little rig.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I received my radio from China (approx 2 weeks). The manual left a lot to be desired so I ordered the programming cable and software ( about 6 days). The software was contaminated and would not open so I downloaded it off the internet. It was more obscure than the manual with no instructions and a lot of ?marks. I contacted the supplier and he said he was sorry about the software and gave me a www address for the software and it turned out to be identical to what I had downloaded. Still no help. Well I studied the manual and read between the lines and was able to program it. It works great!

Great little radio.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Echoing the previous review. Very robust little UHF hand held. VFO or direct frequency entry with steps of 12.5Khz and 25Khz. VFO and memory scan feature. Covers PMR frequency's with all the CTCSS tones required. Also has a VOX feature and speaker mic port. Can be charged from mains or your computers USB port! Power output is 2 watt, 1 watt HI/LO. The manual could explains procedures a little better but that's my only grump..

The built in FM radio sounds fantastic for a radio of its size.
For 30 inc. post its a total bargain.

solid good value  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Just received my Puxing PX-2R from Hong Kong, took just 6 days and cost around 30 including p&p.
The radio appears to be very well constructed and is a similar size to the Yaesu VX2. The casing is well moulded plastic, the rear cover unlatches and slides off to reveal a nice cast metal chassis, and access to the rechargeable li-ion battery (same battery as in some Nokia mobile phones). Antenna is sma connection.
After charging (approx 2 hrs) the radio was tested and worked very well with an output power of 2 watts, received audio was surprisingly loud for a very compact unit.
Overall very impressed for the money
