Best VHF antenna out there  Time owned: more than 12 months
This antenna has a very wide band, performing at under 1.2:1 almost 4MHz and under 1.5:1 for about 8MHz.
When you buy this antenna, you can have it centered at the exact frequency you want and you can specify connector type and length of the feeder line cable (RG213 by default but can be upgraded to LMR400 cable from Times Microwave)
The gain on this antenna is actually better than other 3dBd (5dBi) antennas out there, it could be becouse of the very well performing radiation pattern, the lobes gives the maximum gain where it should be.
Mechanically the clamping mount is very robust and confortable to clamp into any mast, but the best part of this antenna is the high quality fiber glass tube that is almost indestructible.
I love this antenna!
