Great Instrument

Time owned: 0 to 3 months

Portable antenna analyzer. The kit consist of boards with pre-assembled SMD parts. Only few conventional parts has to be assembled. Kit is complete except rechargeable batteries. The calibration is easy. Only a accurate 50 Ohm terminator is necessary. As for all high tech boards soldering skills are essential.
The instrument works great and due to its selective measurement principle, high HF levels of the antenna has no influence to the measurement. The large graphical display with background light is easy to read. The readibility outside in bright sunshine is excellent.
Screenshots can be seen at my web page: http://www.dg8fbv.de/analyzer.html
Battery operating time is up to 6 hours. Measurement can be stored. An USB connection is build in for measurement direct with connected computer and/or processing stored data.
I am very satisfied with the instrument and did not regret the buy at any time.
