Reviews Summary for TrackSat/WM
TrackSat/WM Reviews: 1 Average rating: 5.0/5 MSRP: $now freeware???!!!!
Description: Written and optimized for Windows Mobile devices.
TrackSat/WM is an application developed for Windows Mobile
devices that will track satellites, and display their
position on a map of the world. It also has a display that
shows other relevant information useful to Ham Radio
operators to allow them to work them. It has a built in
facility to update the Keplarian elements, and an ability to
produce a list of predictions for availability of service
(AOS) for a given satellite for up to 7 days. You can select
particular passes, and save them to the calendar in Pocket
outlook on the device so that you may get reminders.
Product is in production.

free and for windows mobile!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I just downloaded, installed and put the registration codes indicated in http://www.qsl.net/zl3ad/registration.htm.

I have tracked Hamsat VO-52 with success using the cheapest TV rotor on the market and my windows mobile device running tracksat/wm.

The software is very easy to use and it has some amazing features. It does not have the horizon view, and few frequencies of the satellites are included. I was amazed however that for the ISS the frequency includes the correction for the doppler effect real time. I was astonished when clicking on view to show the AOS for the satellite I could import the passes to the calendar of the device which alerted me just when the satellite was coming! My agenda is now full for the next 7 days!!!!
