Great antennas  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I have been looking for a well made and reasonably priced mobile antenna since I became a ham. I have spent $80 just for a antenna, and I have spent as little as $30. I recently bought a Maxrad dual-band antenna (2 M/440 MHz) and it is the best antenna that I have ever owned. It is rugged and its on-air performance is very good. It is made of all stainless-steel and brass, and even the $100 antennas can't say that. I bought it to replace my $80 Comet antenna that broke, and this antenna (that I paid $47 for, including shipping) is made so much better that it's a massive leap between the two.
