Still working 30 yrs later  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I just got one working this afternoon. Got it at the Raleigh hamfest for 10$ full of crystals. It had a bad mic cable and was likely shelved years ago. Its filthy, but works well upon initial checkout. Audio is nice from the large front firing speaker. I've yet to have a synthesized radio of the era last this long. Nice rig, I'll clean it to as new and use it as the monitor radio in the shack.

Great 2 Meter Radio  Time owned: more than 12 months
Regency was one of the first manufactures of 2 meter radios that were crystal controled and inexpensiove for the time. The HR-212 provided 12 seperate channels at 20 watts of power. Ver simple in design, a few of these can still be found for sale. A simple efficent radio for it's time.
