A tremendous HALBERD  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I was looking for a simple, efficient, antenna for daily opened bands, knowing that i cannot put on a contest station here in my house.
I'm amazed for performance at 18 meters over the gorund (6 m up the top): I can work easily barefoot on CW worldwide H24, boring pile-up, even now with few sunposts.
This bi-directional antenna, with conical tubes, is very robust and resists to ice and snow, giving quiet sleep with high winds.
Perfect 1:1 SWR on all 20m band, and bandwidth of 100KHz for SWR 2:1 on 40m.
The perfectly horizontal polarization allows a good reception without QSB or QRN even when it rains.
With 500W I compete with classic tribanders.
For best results must equip with ECO 1:1 balun Art.079
