Pretty Good  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Bought one of these at a local CB shop, primarily because it was under $15.00. The Opek ball mount is heavy, chrome plated steel and brass. The mounting screws are smaller than a Hustler SSM-2 mount, and the gasket isn't quite as thick. The ball adjustment is notched and grooved on the inside so it won't slip when tightened down. As I mentioned before, the ball itself is very heavy and strong. I believe the only weak point is where the SO-239 connector screws into the ball through the plastic mount. That's what holds all the weight and stress, however, it does seem to be adequate.

The good thing is, the threads going into the ball from the inside (through the plastic insulator) are fine 1/2 inch threads, same threads as a lug nut stud. Makes it possible to mount the ball on your own insulator for other projects if desired.

Yes I know this product is primarily made for 102 inch CB whips and other CB antennas, but I found it very useful and practical for my HF mobile setup. Thumbs up for overall quality and price.
