This is the ONLY program I use for general logging!

I've been using Prolog for 12 years. I have 90185 contacts logged so far. Ed, for customer support, is without any doubt 'the man' for getting things done. He is 'spot on' for keeping the program up to date. He deserves the Red Badge of Courage for putting up with my numerous calls to straighten things out. Note: I am not a computer literate person, by any means.
I respond to a great many QSL cards. Prolog is invaluable in making this task easy and relatively painless. I work all the major PSK, RTTY, CW and SSB contests. The resultant ADIF files transfer easily into Prolog.
The program also controls the beam heading. I find this to be a very valuable feature.
Thank You Ed for all your help.

This is a great program with many features. It is hard to explain in this short note but it does all you can think of and then some. The help that Ed gives to us older amateurs is amazing. Buy this program and you cant go wrong. Don w7don

Great product and service
|
Time owned: more than 12 months
|
Been using Prolog since 1999 and it has never given me any problems but most important is the service and ED's unbeliveable patience. I corrupted my log completely and Ed spent hours with me on phone and email and fineally had me send my log to him as an attachment and he straightend it it all out and returned it to me. I'm sure trying to explain computers to an 86 yr old guy isn't easy to say the least..
Thanks ED

Excellent product

After 7 plus years it's time to write a review on this great Logging program. Like others I had using the "free" or "shareware" programs and always found that they lack this or that feature. I'm a causal DXer and contester, I find the versatility of ProLog meets all of my needs in one program, gives me instant status of entities worked, needed and the status of awards. The software is well supported and problems or issues are rapidly addressed by Ed in the support group. All of my problems have turned out to be self induced or caused by my firewall settings, this hasn't stopped Ed from walking me through each issue and resolving the cause. As you can tell I'm a "happy camper" and would recommend that you check out their website to see if it would fit your needs.

Stan

The Best

I have been using Prolog for general logging almost since its inception and have been a very satisfied user right from the start. Prolog is extremely user friendly, sure there is a learning curve but after a short while even I had it mastered. The logger has updates when changes are needed and it is easy to install them. There are options when ordering Prolog so you can include just what you need. As others have said the best part about Prolog is the Customer service. Ed always responds to inquiries quickly and is able to resolve any issues and answer any questions you may have. Ed has even taken a few of my suggestions and incorporated them into newer versions of the program. I certainly would not hesitate to continue to endorse Prolog to anyone looking for a great logging program.

Excellent Logging Software!
|

I have used almost every logging program out there. Some are very good, but have a steep learning curve (which is OK by me) or take some time to set up with current equipment. Each program I tried had aspects that I liked but other things I did not. ProLog2K has everything all in one package. Ed makes each disk to the specifications of the buyer based on the desires and operating style of the buyer. The program installed in my Win 7 machine without a hitch and was up and running in 5 minutes! This software has the best help menu system I have ever encountered! It has a complete index and very clear instructions, and if that isn't enough, Ed is extremely responsive and able to walk you through any problem you may encounter. I work mostly DX, so the cluster, award status, LotW and easy QRZ interface are very important. Ed also sells the ProLog Callmaster Database, which I purchased as part of my program. I didn't think it would be any different than using QRZ, but boy was I wrong. No only do you get free FTP updates, but Callmaster actually has info not transferable from QRZ! If you want a professional logging program that is well worth the money, then this is it! Feel free to email me direct if you want to talk about ProLog2K! GREAT JOB, ED!!

Outstanding Customer Service

I decided to upgrade to the latest version of Prolog plus upgrade my radio interface to the Datamatrix version of the CT-17. I was having many problems with my current Icom CT-17 unit (I suspect it took a power surge hit) and once I installed Prolog2K I needed some troubleshooting assistance from Ed. He was very responsive and most helpful in working with me to get my 775 and 751A fully functional with the new interface. The logging program is very robust and much improved from the older Prolog software I had been using. Great job Ed.

Solid Program - Great User Support
|
Time owned: more than 12 months
|
I have been a user of Prolog2K for almost 10 years. I have found the program to be straightforward to use, excellent for my award tracking and easy to interface with my radios.
The program has gone through many enhancements over the years and continues to be improved.
I have found Ed to be very accessible to answer questions or to guide one through a new feature or process. When he is not available I leave a message and he always returns my calls.
I'm sure there are other fine programs out there, but I have been very satisfied with Prolog2K for many years.
