Good unit  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I too have the SGC230 and find this unit quite comparable. I think the SEA's case is better. If you can find a used SEA 1612c cheap (~$250), I recommend it.

Can be had used at great discount  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I purchased one of these tuners off Ebay at a substantial price savings compared to new. The unit had never been used and was in "like new" condition. The tuner is roughly equivalent to the SGC 230, and will handle 150W all day. The enclosure is heavy duty, with captive stainless hardware. It will tune on about 20-30W voice. So far, I like it. This version has an electrically held relay that will short the hot lead to ground when power is disconnected.
