Cheap and rugged, quiet  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I swapped a very cheap Mercury power supply for this one after experiencing terrible RF interference from the original. For the price it is very good. Completely electrically quiet, robustly built and very reasonably priced. I leave it switched on all the time to power the backlighting in my various SWR/Power meters etc. It has a massive heatsink on the back which never gets warm at all. I would conclude that it is built to a very high standard and doesn't produce any QRN. The only minus is that it is rather big for a 5amp unit.
