Great headset on Closeout for $50..  Time owned: more than 12 months
I use the ProMicro along with the HMP (preamp) on my IC756. This is a very good light-weight headset which I highly recommend. Very good audio reports on the Icom and Yeasu radios with this headset. But you'd better hurry, they are on closeout at HRO for $50 as of 6/7/01.

Great Audio on transmit & receive!  Time owned: months
Have used this Heil Pro-Micro headset for at least three to four years. I don't think they make this headset any longer. Only problem had been RF feedback locking the rig in transmit from time to time. Bob Heil gave me the needed fix and the Pro-Micro rarely locks in transmit. Gives superior audio over Icom factory mikes. I have the HC-5 cartridge in this mike. Use on an IC-775DSP. If you can find this headset still for sale I recommend it.
