Great Radio, this & its cousin the FT-212RH  Time owned: more than 12 months
I bought 2 Yaesu FT-212RH and 1 of these when they came out. All of them are great radios and very durable. One of mine survived a divorce in which years later my son found it at my x's and brought it back to me. Hooked it up and wow, it worked great! This is a great rig, especially now that you can get them used at such a great price!

Great little rig!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Bought used for $60 from an ebay seller. Very rugged little rig, works flawlessly. Very nice output with clean modulation. I recommend to buy one if you ever see one for sale. The FT-712H model seems very rare though, with very limited info available online. Perhaps it's made for an asian market?
