Absolutely Marvellous!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Finally, at last! Kenwood are listening to their customers, unlike other manufacturers!

USB connection, works with all versions of Windows, easy to program and use etc. I had my new TH-D72 downloaded to myNetbook, memories programmed, APRS set-up and other bits sorted in under 10 minutes. All nicely backed up too on my PC!

It's free and I'm a very happy chappy, thank you!

Excellent  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
MCP-4A software enabled me to program my new TH-D7A in a matter of a few minutes. Connecting the D7A to my PC was as simple as a USB connection should be and the software immediately recognized the D7A. Programming satellite frequencies is a breeze now and everything necessary to program is presented on simple, straightforward screens. The program is very intuitive and it's FREE. Can't get any better than that. Nice going Kenwood!
