Vintage 70's  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
This is mobile version of IC-221JP(IC-211EU/US) with slightly shortcuted features such as just 4-digit LED display, "Hi/Low" output power control, no split.
Schematic diagram is most likely the same as IC-221JP(IC-211EU/US), but analogue part splited into 2pcbs - SSB part placed on different pcb.
PLL unit is the same as IC-221JP(IC-211EU/US)have with famous fault. If you buying secondhand, ask first "Is there any resoldering job done?" If answer is positive you will get an 221(211) model in a less than half-size case. If "no" be ready to heat-up your soldering iron.
Another negative thing is that Icom started to use steel for case and after years it might be very rusty, but depends on owner.
Overall if you are after old style RIG without much digital features or on the budget this is your choice, otherwise i would not recommend you to buy this RIG
