| Reviews Summary for czech army morse key |

Description: The key was made in the early 1950's for the Czech armed forces, presumably for the army. It was part of an HF base station which was called Type RM31 (although this may have been just the receiver reference), so the type name
stuck and was then associated with the key. I now think the transmitter was called Type RS41

Fantastic and Smooth
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months
|
Bought this one from another ham.
Silent, smooth, quality made, will last 2 lifetimes and is unbelievable a precise instrument.
Has the right weight and stays on the desk while in operation. As said before, the cover makes it a quiet key. Does not work with the cover open while you make adjustments. Once you set it to your likeness you start to enjoy a relaxed CW operation.
Mine came with a 4 prong cloth covered cable which sets a difference with the one sold in the UK, which comes with a two prong cable, also cloth covered but is the very same key.
Just love it. After trying 4 different straight keys from other countries, including famous military ones, I can properly say: This one is now my preferred one and the best I have found.

I love this Key!!!

I have to say this key really surprised me,smooth operation great action, and an absolute blast to use. I recieved mine and promptly soldered a bananna clip adaptor for it, and started making contacts all over the world.
By the way if you get this key spend the extra 2 pounds and get the bananna plug adaptors, so you don't have to permanently modify this historic collectors piece.
Great key, has really brought the fun back to straight keying for me.
The only negative I can think of with this key is that you have to open the top cover to adjust the tension and gap, however you have to close the cover in order to test the tension and gap, this can become quite tedious for small adjustments. But once you lock your settings in you are done.

Steal it!
|
Time owned: more than 12 months

Description: military key from czech repubblic. Prijem Vysilany is printed on the key. Militay DK 10 from Czech republic.
Very nice feeling. Looks compact. It's heavy enough to be stable on the desk. Material is premium quality. Mechanically is very good. It's not noisy when you clik and I have a very nice feeling with it. Steal it for a few bucks!

Sturdy, crisp, well made

Bought mine from Mike at Czech Morse Keys in GB. Price is right. Shipping was quite prompt, although the local post office wasn't very prompt delivering it. Shipped 2/25 and arrived post office 3/7. Not bad for overseas post.
Although it's fairly light weight, it stays put without anchoring. Has a nice crisp feel to it. Adjustable spring tension and gap give good results. Excellent key for the money.
