Really nice appliance radio  Time owned: more than 12 months
This radio is a sweetheart, as long as you realize its limitations. It is a bare-bones communication appliance with no line-up of wild bells and whistles. Yhe provided features work exceptionally well. I have the optional AM/FM board, and thoroughly enjoy REAL all-mode operation. It is a reliable, simplistic radio with workable features.

good 100w radio with 6 meters  Time owned: months
Overall this is a good radio. What I like is its solid state, very stable and easy to use. Very portable and a good second rig or mobile. What I dont like is no rf gain control. Also no if shift or variable bandwith control. Having said that if you find one at a good price its worth getting. On 6 meters it works fine but only has 10w output. Better to have 100 watts esp in mobile operation.
