Bad out of the box  Time owned: more than 12 months
Had this cable assembly and it was bad out of the box. I bought this and several other types of cable assemblies from this company. They are all bad. The soldering is a joke and what is touted as "heavy duty construction and shrink wrapping" just hides the shoddy workmanship. Avoid this company and its products at all costs. They will not respond or stand behind this junk product. You would be better off giving you money to homeless people.

Appears to be a good product.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I ordered two 100 foot runs of this RG mini 8 coax based on the positive reviews I have read on eham. The connectors seem solid made and adequate for general purposes. The jacket is flexible yet appears tough. I would have to cut it and examine the coax for a more accurate appraisal such as of the braid and foam inside. The price was a deciding factor. This does not appear to be top of the line coax but is definitely better than some more commonly available coax you see in retail electronic stores. Because a good portion of the coax will be protected from the elements and run inside my house, I think it will last a long time.
