VERY good HT, A+ Quality

A business partner and I purchased a pair of the UHF KG-833s as a trial for commercial use and were very pleased with the quality and the excellent audio reports we have received. This particular transceiver is part certified to use for commercial and/or ham radio use. The limitation of 16 channels vs the cost is not the most practical for the typical ham operator unless you are just wanting a commercial grade transceiver for limited channel/single-band use. This also makes a great GMRS HT for those that are licensed. The programming software is easy to use and all the accessories for the popular ham dual-bander are compatible, i.e. programming cable, battery & charger, battery eliminator, antenna adapter, etc...everything. I liked it so much that I bought the VHF model as well. If you want any other information, feel free to contact me.
