Description: The Altec Lansing VS4121 multimedia system includes a pair
of 3 mid-bass driver speakers and one 6.5 subwoofer. An
upgrade from both the VS2421 and VS2521, the VS4121 offers
an increased peak power output of 62w (versus 56w), an
improved nominal power output of 31w (versus 28w), a
superior frequency of 25Hz-15kHz (versus 30/35Hz-20kHz), and
a better signal-to-noise ratio of 85dB (versus 73/80dB)...

Great pc speakers!!!  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
These speakers are not only for pc's music, but also for listening communications in HF! It may sound strange, but they don't really have a very flat response. That causes the static noise to sound less than the other's voice and this acts like a 'noise reduction' system. They have a small amplifier inside and input audio comes in from a small jack and not in a USB. Happy listening! +73's...
