Great analog trunking scanner  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
The Radio Shack Pro-162 was manufactured (Until 2009) by Uniden and is the handheld version of the Pro-160 base/mobile scanner. I recently purchased this scanner as a backup and for it's military aircraft capabilities. Sensitivity and image rejection seem great for a handheld scanner. Easy to program using Butel's ARC 160 software. According to the Radio Reference Wiki, this scanner is capable of being re-banded, if your area requires that. This is a great analog scanner. If you see a used one selling for around $100.00 grab it!
