Great rig  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
Not much I don't love about this xcvr. I prefer it to my Icom Pro III as the layer after layer of menus are very tedious to wade through. I find it's sensitivity uncanny. There isn't signal I can't split out of the herd unless two are on the same frequency. Down side it is a beast. If you are frail of health you may need help to get it up on the desk. I also like the quality of the receive audio through the sm5000. I do wish it had receive recorder SDHD chip instead of just 15 seconds.
