nice radio  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I bought my first dxsr8 in 2010 to try it but after few weeks i selling it , to try others only hf rig, i knew i had to keep it on my shack. Now i bought my second dxsr8 and keep it close to my ts870s ;it's a latest sr8e model the vfo knob not bobbing and the noise blanker seems improved. Excellent receiver, in the evening on 7 mhz it's quiet and does not have overload problems, even with long wire antennas.I had a lot of radio to work only cw and ssb , never do local qso. This is a good radio certainly a good buy as entry level,it has fm, 5mhz band, ctss and 29 mhz tone repeaters, built in keyer and more.I confirm my previous review,so first you need to carefully read the user manual and especially not to have too many prejudices, remember that this is just a hobby.
Product is in production.
