Just ok  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Is it a KenYaeCom in build and quality. NO

Is it a Motorola in heavy Duty construction. NO.
Does it work. YEP. Does the provided software suck? You bet! Dont even bother using it.

Does it do what most hams want? Yes

Is it a throwaway radio? Sure is!

You get what you pay for. No more no less

Would I want to depend on this cheap radio in an emergency. Not on anyones life...

Do I used the one I have? Yep. but I ALWAYS and I mean always have some kind of backup.

Is this a good radio for the new ham? well yes and no.
Yes its good if all they need or want is a cheap handheld radio to start with.

No if they think that this is all there is. There are WAY better radios out there. But for the new ham or the Shack on the belt operators this might be just the thing.

Would I buy another one? I dont think so. But then after 30 years as a ham I have become jaded and like better quality. Maybe I am just old!!

Product is in production.
