Can't beat it for the price  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I got mine from Amazion.com and I had it in a bit over a week.
I don't know why you need a computer to program it and I just did a search on a cheat sheet.
I just took my sweet time and manually put every thing in.
I never use scanning and other features so I have five 2 meter repeaters put in and two for 440.
For $49.99 I have a dual bander and I can work the ISS,simplex or put in more repeaters.
I read where some run hot but I never had that problem.
A little hash comes in when listening to the weather station but I think a better antenna will fix that.
I still gave it a five because it does a heck of a lot for the price I paid.
