I have built this interface for a club station, because we wanted an interface with dedicated external sound card for the digi modes. The assembly was quite simple. In the end you have a beautiful and very compact interface. The only limitation is the fact, that you can either use the CAT port, OR the CW port, OR the PTT port, since it sports only one usb to serial converter! Keep this in mind, especially, if you want to use a software that doesn't support PTT via CAT. I later heavily modified this interface with two additional USB to RS232 converters for dedicated CW and PTT/FSK ports. A USB hub is built in and only two USB ports are used (Sound card and CAT), so I could use the USB data lines from the front USB socket and the other from the internal extension connector. Another housing of the same type and size was then mounted on top of the Interface ONE to accommodate the two additional USB-RS232 converters, then some circuits on the PCB had to be modified as well. The "Funkamateur" should release a follow up with the additional dedicated USB-RS232 converters, then it would be a 5/5. If dedicated CW and PTT ports are required, better go for a DigiMaster Pro3.
