28 Month UPDATE  Time owned: more than 12 months
Been 28 months now since I got my TS-590S and its still at the top of the heap in my book, was wanting to replace it with one of the new Yasues Radios so I could use the extra feathers to control a Yasue DMU an the VL-1000 I use with my other Yasue radio, when to HRO and took headphones with me so I could compare the TS590s the FTdx3000D an the FTdx1200 using headphones. My take is the TS590S has a better signal to noise ratio using the headphone jack, than both the other radios and is much easer to use for blocking out QRN. It can be done with the Yasue radios but requires much more tuning to do so, I gave the TS-590s a 5star rating when I brough it 2 plus years ago an am standing by the rating today, its
a find value today as it was when I brought it, GREAT easy to use radio with a GREAT receive for money spent!.............kb6hrt
Product is in production.
