Beware of Fake ones  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Bought a NL-R2 from Ebay and for my surprise it worked well without any problems but later realised that the repeater is barely 3 kilometers away and any wire will perform well. So decided to measure the SWR and it was 1:3 on Vhf and 1:4 on UHF. so was almost fainted looking at these readings. Giving out hope, finally decided to open the matching part and found only a rusted iron sring about 7 turns where one side was connected to the center of the connector and other to the radiatng whip. 2 turns were shorted with soldering lead at the bottom. Then asking the dealer, he immediately changed the words "Genuine, Made in Taiwan" from the site.
Product is in production.
