Great Audio  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Compared to my last 2 radios including the K3 (S)/P3- with the new synth board, this radio has outstanding audio. It can drive my old vintage Advent 1's which are pretty inefficient 8 ohm 2 ways.
The receive signals have a quality I cant quite describe, but silky smooth- full body type sound in stereo. The diversity receive is a nice upgrade, the scope very responsive. Tuning VFO knob is just right, it has an accelerated speed function by turning it faster. Operationally this rig is well designed. I find playing with the built in RTTY fun to use and the decoder works very well.
I am looking forward to remote operations using the built in network port.
All in all I love this radio, well done ICOM.
