Very nice and easy to operate rig!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I own a Yaesu FT-8800R since 5 months (love it) and put it in my courier truck and i bought my FT-7800R used on eBay 2 weeks ago and put it in my VW Golf and i simply love it!!!

Another thing i like with the FT-7800R is to listening the local airport on 122.2 MHz. AM aircraft receive is great on this rig!

This is the best dual band radio I have had. Sound is great (and better than my FT-8800R). Also, i think the FT-7800R has a better look than my FT-8800R.

This rig is very easy to program and operate too! Nothing wrong with this rig! I also love the hyper memories.

Yaesu did a great job with the FT-7800R!

Highly recommended!
