Simply Excellent  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Up until now, I have been using a Yaesu FT1000MP Field and have only had the IC-7600 a few days but I find it to be an excellent radio. I love the bandscope, it's bright and very clear and it's easy to read the received PSK or RTTY and having the ability to see signals on the band is great. The front panel is well laid out and it's easy to use the buttons and knobs.
On CW, it's excellent. Filter selection is easy and effective and the received SSB audio is terrific. I really like the 3khz bandwidth filter on SSB too. It's easily the most pleasant SSB I've heard.
I think the new Icom HF radios have greatly improved our ability to enjoy Ham Radio on the HF bands.
