Very versatile

Time owned: 3 to 6 months

I use it for 2m ham (wide, PL tones), marine (all pre-programmed) and Coast Guard Auxiliary (narrow, DCS). Works perfectly in all 3 modes. Feels solid. Holds charge for weeks. Also has a very sensitive WX band receiver. The programming cable for a VX-7, sold by RT Systems, works with the CE68 software.
The primary display is only 3 characters, and you have to be a little creative in your abbreviations. But there's a small scrolling 12 character display to remind you of what you meant when you programmed "An0" on the primary display.
As others have mentioned, the included accessories are worth a lot. As always, ditch the little rubber duckie and get a longer SMA 2-meter whip.
Recent internet price was $116, shipping included. It's truly a hidden gem of a bargain.
