KQ6YV - Field Day/Public Service 2010
Worked field day and did net control for the Banana Slug Trail Trials in Henry Cowell State park near Felton, Ca for 2010. Used an FT8800 for VHF net control and an FT100d for HF field day contacts. Operated from atop the observation tower, antennas were an Outbacker for HF and Comet vertical. for VHF. All power was supplied by a pair of group 27 deep cycle batteries. Couldn't have done without help from Jeff KJ6ETR.
