 Hello – selling a very nice and somewhat rare Heathkit HW-99 - a 4 band CW only rig designed for Novices in the mid ‘80’s. It covers the CW portions of 80, 40, 15 and 10 meters. It resembles a high power HW-9 and shares much of its internal circuitry. It has an internal AC power supply.
It’s very clean – no signs of cigarette smoke and a few very minor scratches (no dents) on the cabinet.
This one looks like it was built at the Heathkit factory (additional pictures available) mainly because the internal wiring is nearly perfect and because there are no check marks in the assembly manual (included).
Power output on all 4 bands is robust - 50 or more watts, but it would be best to run it at a lower output level even though it has automatic power fold back capabilities with antennas exhibiting a higher SWR.
It has a crystal filter followed by an integral audio filter so the tuning is very precise and sharp.
It comes with the assembly manual. Schematics are available on my website (k3jls.com) or on a thumb drive that I will provide in the package.
I’m asking $245 plus shipping. The radio itself weighs about 22 pounds and it will be securely double boxed in a 16x16x9 inch box. It will ship from 19518 (Douglassville, Pa.).

connectors on the radio power terminals, the microphone, 5' of remote cable. No mobile bracket, or wire harness could be found.
