Purchased the Chameleon F-Loop Plus with the intent of operating portable, especially on Field Day. Unfortunately my wife scheduled me to European river cruises each year since purchase. An experienced loop user, with an MFJ1786 as one of my two primary HOA stealth antennas for the past 7-years, we moved from a SoCal, crowded, over 55 community (with an antenna-unfriendly HOA,) to a large, spacious NorCal Sierra-foothills home; a large property without antenna constraints. My antenna requirements have changed, and my portability thoughts have given way to my advancing age.

The Chameleon F-Loop was only tested twice, from inside my garage ham shack, and is in new condition. It’s reception quality was as quiet as the MFJ, and it’s construction and materials clearly quality. The CHA F-LOOP 2.0 portable antenna is comprised of two 33.75 in. diameter flexible radiator loops, a rigid coupling loop, a telescoping mast with handle and tripod mount, a specially designed tuning unit, and coaxial feed line.
