 Here is a unique and interesting little Knockout regenerative receiver. Restored and working. This was truly
the beginning of radio's popularity. Thought to be a kit radio, or homemade but likely not factory made. In any case, it really is quite a "knockout." It has been rewired with period appropriate 12 gauge bus wire. It is fitted with a high testing UX-201A tube, and works quite nicely. It works well with a 4.5V to 6V "A" cell and a 24V "B" cell. This can be four "D" cells and three 9V batteries. It can also be run by a ARBE III battery eliminator available through arbeiii.com. The receiver requires high impedance headphones of roughly 2000 ohms. I will include a period appropriate set by Western Electric, a $44 bonus. This radio isn't for everyone, but the buyer will take a shine to it quickly as it's fun to use. Like most radios of that period it is “broadcast band” only. If you are not familiar with regenerative receivers, you should do some research before buying this set. 12"W x 8"H x 8"D in a beautiful wood case. These "20s" sets were sometimes referred to as a casket radios being wooden with a hinged top.

The Relay Coil crossbar has etching:
WESTERN ELECTRIC C0 PATD JULY 21 1905.
All parts of the unit are original parts, and they are in good condition.

there are several things you can do, depending on how far you want to
take your complaint. We recommend you start with the first two steps below,
before following up on any others.
- Talk to the other member. Sometimes it may seem like you've been ripped
off when what really has happened is there has been a miscommunication.
See if this is the case before you take your complaint to the next level.
- Contact the Classifieds
Manager. If you feel this is an outright case of fraud or a blatant
misuse of the eHam.net Classifieds, send us an email with
the person's Callsign. We will investigate it and if we are able to
determine with certainty that there was a misuse we will block the member
from using the site and delete all of their ads. Please consider this
a fairly extreme measure - it takes a lot of time to follow up on these
complaints.
- Contact a third party to resolve the problem. If you need to, contact
an outside party to arbitrate your dispute.
- File a formal complaint. If you paid for an item but never received
it, this is considered mail fraud. You can contact your local Post Office
or the National Fraud Information Center
(http://www.fraud.com) and file a formal complaint.
