LDG electronics poor service
« on: January 14, 2015, 12:58:50 PM »

I sent my tuner in for in warranty repair on December 1 and still nothing heard from them. Sent them  a few E-mails and got short reply's, with no information on the repair. Their inability to communicate makes me wonder if I will ever see my property again.

They don't seem to care about the customer or his time, and the impression they give is that they are run by a couple of hobbyists that don't know how business works, or how to treat people. They certainly will not get another dime from me.73

I know. It must be my fault. I have to bust my chops, to get a simple repair done. LDG is never wrong. But thanks for the concern.73

In their return instructions LDG states up front that they cannot provide status of units while they are being repaired, so that should not be a surprise.   Also that repairs can take up to 4 weeks AFTER they receive the unit:

But I believe they were closed for 2 weeks over the holidays, so they may have a backlog to work off.

As I said in your previous LDG thread, LDG has provided good service over a long period of time for me.  You should probably call them...

A few years ago I purchased an LDG tuner from HRO. I was having a problem and emailed LDG several times over a period of a few weeks. I never did get a response to any of my emails and had tried calling them as well but never any answer. One day I called and someone did pick up the phone. He was very nice, polite and solved my problem without me having to send the tuner back for repair. Nice guy but they should consider answering their phone and returning emails promptly.

I have had a bad experience with LDG also.
My AT-1000 tuner meter took a dump. The next generation
of the AT-1000 tuners  used a different meter. So I called them for help.
They were out of stock on my model and could not repair.
I ask for help with trying to get a replacement and even if they could direct
me to their supplier. They were no help at all and rude .They only suggestion was to fine a broken one with a good meter or purchase a new model.
There attitude sucked for customer service.
