100khz-1.7ghz RTL-SDR Kit
« on: February 12, 2015, 07:05:34 PM »

I saw this item on line and was wondering if anyone had completed this kit.  A member related that he had seen a response on how to assemble the kit earlier on this forum but I couldn't find it.  So thought I would try.  I have been unable to find any detailed information on other amateur radio sites.  Thanks Paul    WA9WWW

Why go through all that trouble with a crappy 8 bit toy like the RTL-SDR?  It is like trying to put lipstick on the pig.  You can add all kinds of circuitry, convertors, and filters around the RTL-SDR and it will be no better than its core.  There are much better options out there.  Just google it.
