Can anyone recommend a good software to be used as a recorder for SSB , that can record  and play back on Air.

using an FT DX 3000

try Audacity - its made for musicians ,but same difference.its your sound card that
needs the attention....probably you can use a headphone out into the sc's
line in (not the mic input) the software will record it, show it graphically, allow you
quite a latitude of edit, convert it to several different file formats and send it where you want.  you could also just mic the input though the quality would suffer.  Audacity
is free btw.  to resend also you could hold the speaker to your rigs mike. if its cw
to keep it real clean i'm not sure how to get it back into your tx's signal path.
   if your on mac garage band does the same thing
