I have Palm Single. My paddle is #011 and it is in ABS housing and I like it very much. Clever design and very well made. I cannot speak about feeling from sending, because I cannot compare it to different paddle as I never had any other. But it seems fine to me.

Quick mount has two strong magnets and can be at bottom of paddle or on its either side, therefore paddle can be on steel plate on desk or on txr side (if it has steel cover).

I got my Palm iambic in 2008 and though a bit pricy it has held up to field QRP and currently used mobile.  I like the small form factor and retraction for protection but prefer a stiffer paddle arm.  I found the accessory keyer module at a hamfest but glad I didn't pay new price for it, it's too basic even for portable.

My only real complaint about the Palm is the 3 pin header cable plug is a weak link.  I may resort to soldering a cable directly to the paddle and having a pigtail.
